Iraqi singer Kadem Al Saher expressed his gratitude on Monday to the Iraqi army for liberating the city of Mosul from the Islamic State terrorist group. His gratitude was expressed in a video he posted on his Facebook.
“Thanks for our hero martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the sake of our precious land, peace upon your souls, and you will be remembered forever,” Al-Sahir said in his video, which has over 1.8 million views.
He also sent a message to Ninawa city saying “to my beloved city Ninawa, and all its citizens from different religions, the hearts of all Iraqi people are with you.” He also revealed that he decided to withdraw from TV program “The Voice Kids”
