Beloved entertainer Bette Midler has announced plans for her first major concert tour in a decade.
The kick-off show is scheduled for May 8 in Hollywood, Fla., at the Hard Rock Live. The tour will visit 22 cities in the United States and Canada.
Tickets are to go on sale Nov. 17. Every ticket purchased online comes with a copy of Midler's latest CD It's the Girls!, which goes on sale Tuesday.
Produced by Live Nation and Larry Magid Entertainment Group, the tour will feature material from Midler's storied career, as well as songs from her new album.
Midler has booked appearances to promote the record on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday, NBC's Today Thursday and ABC's Live! with Kelly and Michael Friday.
The Grammy- and Emmy-winning recording artist enjoyed a successful residency in Las Vegas from 2008-10, and starred in the Broadway play I'll Eat You Last: A Chat with Sue Mengers last year.
