Bulgarian-born artist Christo says he plans to unveil "Big Air Package," the largest indoor sculpture in the world, in Berlin Friday. Made of air, fabric and rope, the piece stands 295 feet tall, is 164 feet wide and weighs 5.3 tons. It will be on view to the public at the Gasometer Oberhausen from Saturday through Dec. 30. "The visitor will experience tranquility, space and light -- inside this huge air-inflated sculpture," Christo said in a statement Tuesday. "Our works have no purpose other than to be themselves: works of art of joy and beauty." Christo is best known for "Wrapped Reichstag" in Berlin and "The Gates in Central Park" in New York, the large-scale outdoor works he created with his late wife, Jeanne-Claude.
