Dubai: Telecom operator du has revealed the line-up of this year\'s du World Music Festival to be held at the Burj Park, Downtown Dubai, from March 7 to 16. The annual event brings together the best in world music and will feature both ticketed and free events. Kicking off the 10-day festival will be Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on March 7, followed by flamenco band The Gipsy Kings the next day and acts including Egyptian pop star Amr Diab, Filipino singers Sarah Geronimo and Christian Bautista, British singer Gabrielle, American guitarist George Benson and Egyptian composer Omar Khairat on consecutive evenings. Free concerts will include performances by American jazz musicians Stanley Clarke and Pat Martino, Indian composer Amit Chatterjee, Malian singer Salif Keita, Emirati singer Mansoor Zayed and percussionist Trilok Gurtu and his band from India.
