The Egyptian Embassy in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa on Thursday held two concerts of classical music at Yared School of Music and the Russian Cultural Center.
In a statement today, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that the two concerts were attended by a crowd of foreign diplomats accredited in Ethiopia and businesspersons as well as youths who are interested in arts.
The concerts are a part of the embassy's efforts to enhance communication between the peoples of Egypt and Ethiopia, said Egypt's Ambassador in Addis Ababa Mohamed Iddris.
Pianist Mohamed Saleh and cellist Shady Hanna of Cairo Symphony Orchestra performed in the two concerts.
