Singer Jannat has agreed to present the concluding performance on the Mahki Fort stage as part of the 21st Fort Festival. The Cairo Opera House will be sponsoring this year’s festivities. The singer will be performing a number of the top patriotic songs for Egypt and the January 25th revolution, in addition to a few of her own songs. Mohamed El Helou will also be performing a variety of his songs at the festival. The ninth day of festival activities will commence with 3 concerts on Thursday night, July 28t , on the Panorama stage at the Talent Development Centre. The first performance will be by the “Oriental bed” group, followed by a performance by “Baghdadi Band”, led by Trumpet player Majdi Baghdadi playing a selection of jazz and rock music.
