Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram’s agent Jiji Lamara has revealed that the singer has won the World Music Award for 2011. Jiji stated that the organizers of the Awards had notified him that Nancy won the award, marking the second time she wins the award. Nancy has been presented the award for the success of her recent album ‘Nancy 7’ that was released last year and achieved the highest number of record sales. According to the internet website MBC.net, Lebanese singers ELissa and Haifa Wahbi had congratulated Nancy on winning the award and wished her ongoing success. On a different note, Jiji stated that Nancy will be holding a grand performance in the Italian city Milan next month. The concert is part of the grand Arabic Music Festival taking place in Italy for the first time and is considered to be the first Arab festival organized.
