Egyptian stars Nour el-Sherif and Mohamed Abo Seada, manager of the Cultural Development Fund at the Ministry of Culture, are to inaugurate Artist Alaa Sobh’s exhibition in the palace of Prince Bashtak, held under the auspices of the Fund at the Ministry of Culture on December 20. Alaa Sobh will present his artistic experiment, which combines oil paintings and collages of fabric, the relations between embossed and etched arts on canvas, using materials and techniques to produce artworks. The artist has called the exhibition ‘Rasael’ (Messages), which are in essence a series of harmonious artistic messages in 35 pieces presented in one artistic experiment. Alaa Sobh was a second commissioner in the International Sharm El-Sheikh Symposium, in addition to participating in the French Salon d’Automne, winning several awards in UAE. He also participated in the Revolution Biennale.
