When King of Pop Michael Jackson glided backwards with his iconic moonwalk, he took a step closer to his billion-plus fans worldwide. Today at the Flash Forum in Abu Dhabi, Thriller Live, a tribute show, will pay homage to the late pop icon by executing his moonwalk and more. \"It\'s a fast-paced, high-energy show. Thriller Live is intended to be an emotional roller coaster in which the audience will see Michael from his younger days — the Jackson 5 times onto when they became The Jacksons,\" said J Rome, the star performer of Thriller Live. The two-hour show promises to be a high-octane spectacle that will celebrate the late performer\'s showmanship and skills. So, naturally, audience participation will be one of the highlights. \"There\'s always that point in the show where we get everybody dancing and interacting. We have a dedicated segment in which the audience will have to chant, dance, sing,\" said Rome. Now for all those who are stage-shy, help is at hand. tabloid! asked Rome to demonstrate Jackson\'s signature stage move — the moonwalk. \" The moonwalk is all about weight distribution. Remember to put the weight on the front foot and slide the weightless foot backward,\" said Rome. What\'s more, this rhythmically challenged staffer tried out the steps — and it works.
