Troup VST Arabia Festival has revealed who will compose its jury on Thursday, which includes the most prominent workers in the film industry in the region. The jury will include a number of famous names in the film industry, from actors, directors and producers from several Arab countries, including the Emirate’s Director Mohammed Saeed Hareb, Kuwaiti director Amer Al Zuhair, Saudi Arabian director Haifa Al-Mansour, Jordan producer and actress Saba Mubarak, Syrian actress and filmmaker Kinda Alloush, and Egyptian director and writer Amr Salama as well as Lebanese composer Khaled Meznar. Founder and director John Paulson and co-director Hind Sabri will nominate films for the final round of the festival held in Abu Dabi on October 26. The nominated movies will then be shown to the members of the jury. On the last day on the festival the jury will choose the winning film in front of an audience. This announce comes as the deadline for submitting short films to the festival is coming soon. Co-director Hind Sabri commented on the announcement of the names of the jury: \" Troup VST Arabia Festival has proved its success in its first year, especially with the participation of many films of distinctive creativity and quality from all the Arab countries. We look forward to receiving more applications this year\"\"I am happy to have a distinctive jury who will be able to choose the winner of the festival among the films nominated for the final, which I will select with John at a later date.\" Sabri added “The jury will focus on how the theme of TSI festival was used, which is one of the conditions for participation of films in Troup VST festival. The theme changes each year, and number 2 was selected to be this year theme.
