Egyptian actor Ahmed Eid has told Arabstoday he is unhappy with the insults being directed at President Mohammed Morsi. \"The way we show our objection to something in Egypt has become unacceptable,” Eid said. “There\'s nothing wrong with criticism, but not if that criticism involves insults and abuse every single day. The President has to have some respect.” Eid remembered Tahrir Square in the first days of the revolution. “People around me would start abusing former President Hosni Mubarak and I would tell them not to. I didn\'t go out of my house to abuse him. I went to oppose him in a respectful manner.” Eid told Arabstoday he had stopped attending protests, because he does not back the “reasoning” behind the demonstrations.
