Waha Al Rahib denied claims published by a website stating that she was assaulted by a group of protestors in Al Qadam neighborhood in Damascus. She told Arabstoday that this is surprising as she was not in Damascus when the incident was reported so this has could never happened as she is “not the type of person who likes “fake heroism” or who likes playing a victim, especially if it was at the expense of the truth. “ The website’s statement said that Al Rahib’s film crew was assaulted by a group of protestors while filming for her new film “Love” (Al-Hawa), but that things continued peacefully as members of the Army came to their help. “Love” (Al-Hawa), is a film about love and suffering issues relating to love, starring Sulaf Al Fawakherji in the lead role.
