Amr Diab’s wife safe

The Egyptian superstar singer Amr Diab denied rumours that his wife Zeina  was injured after three people broke into her car, overcoming the driver. Diab confirmed that his wife was not there when the incident happened,  on the Cairo-Alexandria highway. Ahmed Zaghloul, Diab\'s business manager told Arabstoday that Diab’s wife was not there during the robbery, so there is no truth to the rumours circulating in certain media. He added that the incident has been referred to the police,  and Cairo\'s Prosecutor General is investigating the incident and the accused are expected to be arrested during the coming hours. Three people are said to have pursued the driver at dawn, who was then held at gunpoint while the car was robbed.
