Athar Al Hakim’s resignation a done deal

Prominent Egyptian actress Athar Al Hakim has revealed that she intends on making a life changing decision by permanently resigning from her acting career. Athar stated that the current demeaning and corrupt condition of the acting world leads her to making such a drastic decision. According to the internet website MBC.net, Athar revealed that there is a strong possibility she may take on a teaching job to replace her acting one. She said that she has a BA in English Literature and loves to teach just like her father. Athar stated that this is the first time since the beginning of her career she publicly makes such an announcement, but have thought about the matter for the past few years. The actress said that many reasons led to her decision such as the low quality of some of the films and television dramas being produced, the corruption that is very evident, and the inexperience of many actors that are being given big roles for their looks and many other reasons.
