Egyptian singer Amr Diab faced a wave of anger after he performed at a concert in Greece, in front of Egyptian audiences. Immigrants living in the European country said they were reminded of the current crisis affecting their homeland, and denounced the performance. Diab refused to cancel the performance, which many other singers had done. Instead he declined to comment on the response on his Facebook, which he normally did for other concerts. The singer is releasing his new album in the coming months, and a number of his songs are already available in the Internet.
