Hassan Youssef faces backlash over Pope Shenouda role

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood and Salafist youth have attacked the Facebook page of Egyptian actor Hassan Youssef after he declared his desire to play late Coptic leader Pope Shenouda in a TV series. Islamists have questioned Youssef's beliefs as its not allowed (in their opinion) for a Muslim to play the role of a Christian as there were some verses in the Bible that if read by a Muslim would be considered blasphemous.
