Egyptian singer/actor Khaled Salim said that he is too embarrassed to take his fiancé to a film for Egyptian singer Tamer Husni. Khaled added that he also disrespects Tamer’s singing style stating that most of his songs have sexual connotations to them. Khaled refused to comment on Tamer’s voice stressing that despite his feelings, Tamer is a colleague. according to the internet website MBC.net, Khaled stressed that he is not attacking Tamer, on the contrary, he is merely expressing his opinion about his art. Khaled said that he loves Tamer’s compositions, but not too fond of his singing style. He added that the words of Tamer’s songs contain too much sexual overtones, far from the customs and traditions of Arab socieyt.\" Khaled also stated that Tamer’s films have too many inappropriate scenes and language that make him ashamed to take his fiancé see them. With regards to him preferring to produce for himself away from production companies, Khaled said that when he worked with a production company he felt that he had sold his voice, which is part of who he is. He added that the company became in control over him. Khaled stressed that when he produces for himself he is the boss of himself and he treats every song as if it is the main song of the album he wants to release.
