Kinda Alloush, the Syrian star actress, stressed that she is against wearing the Niqab because she hates it, and has firmly denied claims about her agreeing to take on a role wearing a Niqab in order to encourage other women to put it on. Alloush spoke about artists and their relationship with politics when she appeared on TV show ‘Dictator” presented by Ibrahim Issa; she stressed that artists must be politically educated and that she is extremely against and rejects the idea of blacklists and honor lists. The actress admitted that she has somewhat became a bit of a “dictator” due to previously working as an Assistant Director. She did say that she asks a lot of questions and is always debating, which upsets some people in the entertainment world. “Dictator” was broadcast daily on Al Tahrir TV channel during Ramadan.
