Kuwaiti actress Muna Shadad said that her participation in the program “Shat Bahr Al Hawa” (On the seashore), aired on the satellite channel MBC, made her connect with her Kuwaiti and Gulf roots. She described the program as one of the most important milestones of her career, giving her the opportunity to meet and foster close relationships with some of the most prominent stars in the Arab world. Muna also said that she was honored to represent Kuwait t in the program, and hopes that she met the expectations of Kuwaitis. The show featured stars from around the Arab world, like Lebanese stars Ragheb Alama, Nishan, Joele, Syrian singers Asalah Nasri and Ruwaida Attiyah, UAE singer Ahlam, actress Maysa Moughrabi, Saudi magician Ahmad Al Bayad, and Syrian actor Mustafa Al Khani. Muna said that she really connected with Ahmad Al Bayad. “He is a very down to earth and friendly person,” said Muna. During the program Muna asked Ahmad to come up with some kind of magic that would make her excess weight disappear and never return, which drew laughter from fans.
