Nabila Obaid not in love with Aladly

Nabila Obaid has hit back at Mariam Fakhreddine. Fakhreddine stated on the TV show, “The Truth”,  that Obaid wished she had married former Minister  of Interior Habib Aladly, which Nabila completely denied commenting, “I’m not in love with AlAdly; I’ve never even met him in my life.” This came as a shock to Obaid and she wondered, “why would she come out with such strange talk; what’s in it for her?” Nabila said that her relationship with Mariam is one purely based on friendship, they are in contact like any other friends and check up on one another to say hello. The actress said she knew of the story of Aladly’s marriage to Anushka, but it means nothing significant to her, as Mariam had alleged.   On the TV show, Mariam claimed that Nabila approached her asking why Aladly would marry Anushka, (Mariam’s son’s ex-wife) and not express interest in her (Nabila.  Mariam’s response to her was that Anushka  (a  German native but residing in Cairo) met Aladly at Aljazeera Club playing Tennis on a regular basis. She says the pair later secretly eloped, but Aladly only used to see her once a week.
