The Egyptian actress Nadia Lutfi expressed her support and solidarity with the demands of the demonstrators who took to the streets on the second anniversary of the January 25 revolution. Nadia declared that the demonstrators returned to the squares again because the demands of the revolution regarding freedom and social justice were not fulfilled. Lutfi told Arabstoday: "The Egyptian people will not give up their rights. They achieved a historical victory in this great revolution. Before the revolution, we thought that the grip of the former regime was too strong. Mubarak was very sure of his power so what happened on January 25, 2011 was a sign from God to enhance our faith that injustice does not last and oppression will not last." Lutfi added, "I confirm my full support and solidarity with the demands of the demonstrators, it is necessary that the government pays attention to those legitimate requests."
