Producer of the new series "The team of Nagi Attallah", Safwat Ghattas announced that he is waiting for permits from the Ministry of the Interior, to shoot some scenes of the series in the town of El-Arish, which will be shot after finishing the scenes in Port Said. Ghattas said that he will start shooting these scenes next weekend, if he got the permits from the competent authorities. The series is about a retired general in the Egyptian army, "Nagi Attallah" played by the Egyptian star Adel Imam, when the Egyptian government decides to send him to work in the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv. After he win's the love of everyone in Tel Aviv, the situation is turns upside down when the beloved man turned into an enemy of the state of Israel, because of remarks he makes during an interview on behalf of the Egyptian Ambassador, where he reveals his inability to normalize or feel a sense of belonging towards Israeli society no matter how love he has for Tel Aviv. Here begins the new phase in the life of Nagi Attallah. The cast of the series includes Anushka, Mahmoud el-Bizzawi, Mohamed Adel Imam, Ahmed Salah el-Saadani, Ahmed Touhami, in addition to a large group of Arab actors, produced by Safwat Ghattas and Tamer Morsi, and written by Youssef Maati. Most of the shooting is already complete, and the series is scheduled to be aired in September 2012.
