The Moroccan singer Samira Said revealed that she performed a song dedicated to the Egyptian ousted president Hosni Mubarak, without being forced to do so. She also stressed that the former Egyptian regime had never forced her to do anything at all, and that she normally tries to stay away from the people in power. When asked about why she has not dedicated a song to the Moroccan King Mohammed VI, Samira said that she sang for the late Hassan II when she was 12 years old, but Mohammed VI does not like anyone to sing for him.
