Moroccan singer Samira Said returned to Cairo, after two weeks of sessions with poets and composers in Beirut. Said prepares currently for her first Lebanese song, while she receives the melodies of other songs to perform during her presence in Lebanon. Said celebrated Christmas in Beirut recently, but has decided to spend the New Year in Egypt with her son. Said described 2012 as a year of tension especially for those people who live in Egypt, because of the recent development witnessed in the Egyptian community. She expressed her hope that Egypt restores its security and stability and to achieve the objectives of the Egyptian revolution. She revealed her hopes to complete her new album by Spring 2013.
