Egyptian star Wafaa Amer is concerned about after the events at Port Said city where Al-Masry football fans clashed with security forces, leading to the death of one man. She told Arabstoday that she was keen to follow up on Egypt's political scence. The actress said the Port Said violence frustrated her so much that she was unable to continue filming her new TV series “Karioka”. “Although I’m busy filming my new series, Iam keen to follow up all the political issues especially in Port Said, this really hurts me especially as I thought things were getting better but it seems I was wrong.” said the actress to Arabstoday on Monday. She added: ”I’m in a very bad mood, as I feel that I’m not ready to work under these conditions, especially since I can’t separate my work from what's happening around me. Not like other colleagues who are still filming...this doesn’t mean I’m questioning their patriotism, I do appreciate all of them and wish them all the best.”
