Inventor Mohammad Al-Azmi's win at the 66th iENA International Trade Fair in Nuremberg, Germany, is a new achievement for Kuwait, said an official here Tuesday.
In a press release, Director General of Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) Dr. Omar Al-Bannai said that Al-Azmi's automatic fire extinguisher attracted the interest of the exhibition's organizers, winning the gold medal at the event.
The invention's first prototype was developed in 2012 at the SACGC's creative center, said Dr. Al-Bannai.
From October 30 to November 2, the 66th iENA saw some 730 inventors from 60 countries participating in the exhibition. There were more than 900 inventions presented at the event.
