10m light-saving bulbs to be distributed in February
Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker

As many as 10 million energy-efficient light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs will be distributed to citizens in February, said Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker.
LED bulbs have a lifespan and electrical efficiency that is several times better than the regular ones, he added.
The minister said the LED light bulbs have been already used in one million street lighting poles out of over four million.
