Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy has stressed the need to organize activities along the Nile River.
Cruise ships cannot be allowed to sail through the Nile and fish cages should be established under licenses, Fahmy told MENA on Saturday.
Factories should be banned from dumping waste in the river, he said.
"We are not saying "no" to fish farming and fish cages, but it should be organized," Fahmy said.
Fish cages should be used in line with rules, the minister said.
