The environment ministers conference and the economic conference, which will be held in Sharm, will restore Egypt's pioneering role in the region, affirmed Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy.
Speaking on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings of the African environment ministers conference, Fahmy said that the Suez Canal Project will not be presented in this conference but its an example to follow in the initiative of the Egyptian people in funding such important projects.
It is high time to ask for joint cooperation and funding with the African countries, he added.
