Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy underlined that the nature reserves in South Sinai will be developed with total cost of EGP 12.5 million.
This will provide 4,000 direct and indirect jobs, he added.
The reserves include Ras Mohamed, Nabaq, Abou Galoum, Saint Catherine and Taba.
In statements on Wednesday, Fahmy said that the project aims at preserving the natural resources and the cultural heritage in Egypt.
The development work in South Sinai nature reserves targets serving about one million visitors annually. These services will attract investments to the reserves.
