Palestinian Minister of Public Works Mufeed al Hasayneh has condemned the Israeli occupation forces' opening of dams in Gaza Valley causing scores of Palestinian houses to be flooded with water.
"This is a major crime against the innocent citizens whose houses were flooded at a time the border crossings are locked," he said.
The occupation forces built water dams to stop rain water from arriving to Gaza Strip to benefit from and only opened it when the dams had too much water and threatened the safety of the dams or Israeli farm lands.
They opened the dams to avoid their farms being flooded at the expense of the Palestinians, the minister said.
