Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom on Sunday said his country is committed to boosting cooperation with Egypt and Sudan for defusing pending issues regarding Ethiopia’s controversial Grand Renaissance Dam.
He said the dam would be a symbol of fruitful cooperation between his country, Egypt and Sudan.
Adhanom was addressing the conference of the ministers of foreign affairs and water resources of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia on the dam, which opened in Khartoum on Tuesday.
The foreign ministers of the three nations met in Ethiopia early February.
