The three-way technical meetings between Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam are going well, said Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom.
In statements to Egyptian media following the session of talks with Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri, Adhanom said that the bilateral sessions come as part of the 5th Egyptian-Ethiopian commission.
He, meanwhile, underlined the importance of the joint Egyptian-Ethiopian businessmen forum, which was held today in Addis Ababa.
He further said that several agreements will be signed on Monday during the ministerial meeting.
Cooperation between the two countries, especially in the trade and investment fields, is developing, he added.
Regarding his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Adhanom said that the talks tackled the latest regional developments, especially in the Horn of Africa and the situation in Somalia and South Sudan.
