Germany's rail operator Deutsche Bahn said Thursday it was suspending all long-distance traffic for a day as a deadly storm lashed part of the country with hurricane-force winds.
Deutsche Bahn is "stopping all long-distance traffic," said a spokesman, adding that trains already on the way will be halted once they reach the closest stations.
