Three Team Sky riders were injured Saturday when they fell during a high-speed practice session for Sunday's team time trial at the World Road Cycling Championships.
Britain's Luke Rowe, American Danny Pate and Italy's Elia Viviani suffered cuts and scrapes when they went down at 60 km/hr on the city street course.
The trio returned to the team hotel to undergo further treatment and observation.
Rowe, Viviani and Pate are set to join Britain's Ian Stannard, Belarusian Vasil Kiryienka and Italy's Salvatore Puccio over the 38.8km course in the six-man event.
Pate, 36, posted a photo on Instagram showing scraped to his right knee, right arm and right shoulder with the caption "Course recon gone wrong."
Rowe, a 25-year-old Welshman, was eighth in Paris-Roubaix and seventh in the Tour of Qatar this season.
Viviani, 26, took his first Grand Tour victory in stage two of the Giro d'Italia last May.
Sky has already lost British standouts Geraint Thomas, who withdrew Monday citing fatigue, and Chris Froome, the two-time Tour de France champion who suffered a broken foot last month in the Vuelta a Espana.
