The Swiss League is donating 455 euros ($513) for each goal scored in the first and second divisions this weekend to help the refugee crisis.
In the last round of matches a total of 29 goals were scored in the two leagues.
"Last season around 50 nations were represented in the Swiss Football League," federation president Heinrich Schifferle said on Friday.
"Our clubs know on a daily basis the real meaning of the words integration and solidarity," he added.
Fans either at matches or watching from home are also invited to make a contribution with all the proceeds raised going to Swiss charity 'Chaine du Bonheur'.
The Swiss initiative follows similar fund-raising initiatives from clubs, players and federations across Europe.
