The Dow finished at its seventh straight record Wednesday with banking shares rallying after the Federal Reserve kept alive the chance of a December interest rate increase. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stood at 22,409.87, up 0.2 percent. The broad-based S&P 500 also finished at a record, rising 0.1 percent to 2,508.10, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index shed 0.1 percent to 6,455.46. |
