The eurozone's main markets closed sharply higher Friday, with Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid and Lisbon up by around 3 percent, on hopes Greece will reach a make-or-break bailout deal to keep it in the eurozone.
In Paris the CAC 40 index surged 3.07 percent to close the day at 4,907.07 points, while Madrid gained 3.08 percent, Lisbon 3.04 percent and Milan 3.0 percent.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 2.90 percent to close at 11,315.63 points, having also briefly risen 3.0 percent earlier. Outside the eurozone, London gained 1.39 percent to 6,673.38 points.
