Internationally recognised Omani volleyball coaches instructor Sihab Aldin Al Riyami has been chosen to conduct an Asian Coaches Course in Iraq.
The FIVB-accredited Omani expert has been nominated by Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) to conduct the course in Iraq.
The course will take place in Nagef Volleyball Training Centre from September 24 to 29 with the participation of 35 male and female coaches from different countries.
According to Sihab Al Riyami, who previously served as the secretary of the AVC Coaches Committee, the participants will include former players and coaches as well as physical education teachers.
Shihab, who has conducted many coaches courses, workshops and seminars across the world, has recently conducted a similar AVC Asian Coaches Course in Sri Lanka drawing praise from the host country’s volleyball federation and the participants.
