Sailor Moon, the Japanese anime series about teenage girls protecting the world from evil, began airing on Hulu on Monday. The television series, which began as a manga in 1992, was censored when it was first aired in the United States. It appeared on Cartoon Network with references to gay and lesbian characters changed or omitted. On Hulu, U.S. customers will be able to see all 200 Sailor Moon episodes in their original format. Four remastered, subtitled episodes are immediately available Monday, with two additional episodes being made available each subsequent Monday.
