Comedian Betty White is set to guest star on Fox's long-running procedural crime drama-comedy Bones.
White will be joining series regulars Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan and David Boreanaz as special agent Seeley Booth and she joins the Jeffersonian crew as the latest 'squintern'.
According to TVLine, White will play Dr. Beth Mayer, an accomplished squintern who is brought in to assist in a murder linked to fantasy football - which just happens to be one of her many areas of expertise. With a half century of work under her belt, White's Mayer is considered the most experienced forensic anthropologist in the world, possible leading to a rivalry with Deschanel's Brennan.
White recently wrapped the final season of Hot in Cleveland which ended its run in June after six seasons. Soon after the actress joined Instagram for the first time already attracting 200,000 followers.
Betty White's episode is scheduled to air in late October. Bones returns for its 11th season on Oct. 1.
