Tensions are brewing backstage at NBC’s hit new TV talent show The Voice, as Christina Aguilera is reportedly raking in Dh850,000 per episode - almost three times more than what her fellow coaches, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, country singer Blake Shelton, and rapper Cee Lo Green are each earning. And a show insider has revealed that Levine and Shelton have already formed an alliance against Aguilera, whose much bigger paycheck; attention-stealing diva stunts and A-list perks – including a personal make-up team on standby - have rubbed the guys the wrong way. “They are all so annoyed by her,” a source said. “Every time she walks away with her entourage, they talk about her behind her back.” Adding, “She holds people up and never apologises.” The talent search show, which requires the judges to select aspiring singers based solely on their vocal talents – and they’re hidden behind a screen when the perform – and then mentor them for success, has proved a huge success in the US, regularly pulling in over 10 million viewers; and the final winner is set to go home with Dh400,000 and a recording contract. Article continues below But money issues aside, Forget You singer Cee Lo Green has revealed he is struggling to cope with his increased fame since the start of the show, spilling, “To have to talk and talk and talk - it takes a toll on you.” Adding, “There\'s no way you can avoid people unless you can afford to fly private all the time, and I can’t. It\'s the downside of being talented.”
