Los Angeles - UPI

Emily Kinney will guest star on The Flash.
The 29-year-old actress will portray Brie Larvan, a female version of DC Comics villain Bertram Larvan, aka Bug-Eyed Bandit. Punkd Images announced the casting Sunday on Instagram, with The CW confirming the role to news outlets Monday.
Kinney will appear on episode 18, with Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer and Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak. Her character is described as "a narcissistic tech wizard" who contends with Felicity for the life of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), aka The Flash.
The Flash premiered in 2014, and follows police forensic investigator Barry Allen as he develops and explores his powers. The character gains superhuman speed after a laboratory accident, while the Bug-Eyed Bandit possesses proficiency in robotics and micro-circuitry.
Kinney is known for playing Emily on Showtime drama The Big C and Beth Greene on AMC series The Walking Dead. The actress is also scheduled to guest star on ABC drama Forever, with Ioan Gruffudd as immortal medical examiner Dr. Henry Morgan.
