Late, Late Show host Craig Ferguson plans to adapt popular Facebook page "I [Expletive]ing Love Science" into a TV series. Ferguson announced on Saturday that he will serve as executive producer for the show, set to air on the Science Channel. The comedian said via a videotaped message at the Science Channel's SXSWi event, "If you know anything about me, you know I love science... this show is going to explore the randomness of science. Think of it as a late night Google search that goes a hundred pages deep until things get weird -- and then you just keep going." Elise Andrew created the Facebook page in March of 2012, and the site currently has over ten million 'Likes.' The page promotes itself as "the lighter side of science" and features everything from macro images of insects to articles on offshore wind farms. The upcoming program will also cover a wide range of topics, and will feature live-action, animation, and recreations in each episode. Andrew will serve as a consulting producer and will contribute to the editorial "voice" of the show. Each episode will be sixty minutes, and those involved hope the show will debut in fall of this year.
