Alec Baldwin interviewed New York mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio about job creation and income equality on the actor\'s MSNBC late-night show. \"Up Late With Alec Baldwin\" debuted Friday night with an hourlong discussion with de Blasio, in which the two talked about everything from New York\'s stop-and-frisk police policy and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to \"post-racial\" New York, The Hollywood Reporter said. \"I was an early supporter of de Blasio\'s,\" Baldwin said in the opening of the episode. After the interview, Baldwin describe his show\'s mission. \"I can\'t give a declaration of principles like Charles Foster Kane had for his newspapers,\" Baldwin said, adding that the show would be \"more personal than promotional.\" Academy Award nominated actress Debra Winger is scheduled to appear on next week\'s episode, The Hollywood Reporter said.
