Former child star Fred Savage has directed an episode of the U.S. sitcom \"Modern Family,\" ABC announced. Savage is best known for his work on the classic sitcom \"The Wonder Years.\" As an adult, he has directed installments of the family programs \"Zoey 101,\" \"Drake & Josh,\" \"Ned\'s Declassified,\" \"Big Time Rush,\" \"That\'s So Raven,\" \"Hannah Montana\" and \"Wizards of Waverly Place.\" Tony Award-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, who starred in \"In the Heights,\" is to appear in the episode of \"Modern Family\" Savage directed.
