TNT says it has ordered a 15-episode second season of its American nighttime soap "Dallas." Season 2 is to air in 2013. The first season debuted this month to good reviews and ratings. "'Dallas' has been a success for us on every level: pitch-perfect writing, smart directing and buzz-worthy performances by a new generation of stars and their iconic counterparts," Michael Wright, president and head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies, said in a statement Friday. "With 'Dallas'' top-flight ratings, robust growth through time-shifted viewing and the extensive online buzz, it's clear the Ewings of Southfork have once again captured the imagination of viewers." The show originally ran from 1978 through 1991. A revamped version of the show stars Josh Henderson as John Ross, son of J.R. and Sue Ellen Ewing, along with Jesse Metcalfe as Christopher, Bobby's adopted son, Jordana Brewster as Elena Ramos, John Ross' girlfriend and Christopher's former love, Julie Gonzalo as Rebecca Sutter, Christopher's fiancee, and Brenda Strong as Ann, Bobby's wife. The ensemble also includes the stars from the original "Dallas" -- Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing, Patrick Duffy as Bobby and Linda Gray as Sue Ellen.
