The Malibu-set sitcom Two and a Half Men will end its 12-season run with an hourlong episode Feb. 19, CBS announced.
Executive produced by Chuck Lorre, the show stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer. Upon its completion, 262 episodes will have aired.
Two and a Half Men started out as a series about Cryer's single dad Alan moving into the home of his wealthy playboy brother Charlie -- played by Charlie Sheen -- where they together raised Alan's son Jake -- played by Angus T. Jones. However, Sheen was fired from the top-rated sitcom because of his drug use and erratic behavior, paving the way for Kutcher to join the cast in 2011 as Alan's housemate Walden. Jake joined the military and left the show shortly after Charlie's off-screen death and Walden's arrival.
The network said its remake of The Odd Couple starring Matthew Perry as endearing slob Oscar Madison and Thomas Lennon as uptight neat freak Felix Unger will have its premiere Feb. 19 after an original episode of The Big Bang Theory and before the finale of Two and a Half Men.
