Egypt’s hotly-tipped singer Mohammed Alaa has denied rumours Tamer Hosni stole his song, Your Sweetheart Was Taken By Someone Else, after social networking sites mislabelled it. Web posts said the song was by Hosni, not Alaa. “The public got confused between the two songs because Tamer has released a song with the same title before,” he told Arabstoday. The young singer revealed his respect and admiration for Hosni. Mohammed Alaa is currently putting the final touches to his debut album, slated for release this summer.
