Actress Michelle Dockery is hoping for the cast of the hit TV show Downtown Abbey to reunite.
The 35-year-old played Lady Mary Crawley in the period drama from 2010 until the show’s ending in 2015 and is “hopeful” the cast will reunite for another series or film adaptation, reports eonline.com.
“I don’t know when, but I’m hopeful. I miss the show and my friends on the show,” Dockery said about the reunion.
There are hints that a movie could be on the cards at some point as Dockery’s former co-star Jim Carter, who portrayed Mr Carson in the show, previously teased that the show’s officials had been in touch with him and other stars about leaving some time free to shoot scenes later this year.
Joanne Froggatt, who portrayed Anna Smith, also teased last year when she revealed that writer Julian Fellowes had penned the script for the forthcoming blockbuster.
